Position: Rigging & Lifting Supervisor/Foreman

Role Overview:
Supervise and execute rigging and lifting activities across onshore and offshore company facilities, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, integrity, and reliability. Oversee the effective utilization of resources, compliance with industry standards, and proper maintenance of lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise rigging and lifting operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization, safety compliance, and adherence to QA/QC requirements.
2. Ensure all rigging and lifting activities comply with company lifting codes, standards, and specifications.
3. Verify that all rigging and lifting tools and equipment have valid certifications, are well-maintained, and stored in accordance with company standards.
4. Coordinate with the garage team to ensure timely preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) for company-owned equipment.
5. Arrange external manpower and equipment as needed for emergency activities, while optimizing resources. Support long-term contractors and monitor their performance.
6. Review, verify, and approve non-routine lifting plans for both company activities and external contractors.
7. Ensure rigging and lifting schedules are executed as per the biweekly maintenance plan.
8. Conduct effective toolbox talks and ensure Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is available for all activities.
9. Support investigations related to rigging and lifting incidents, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.
10. Ensure that EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes and plant elevators are well-maintained and available for maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering.
• Certification: Approved Third-Party Rigging Supervisor Certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry, with expertise in lifting procedures and codes.
