Position: Senior Electrical Technician
Role Overview:
Support Expansion Project Electrical activities for pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation, and start-up tasks. Conduct electrical field maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, to ensure the reliability and availability of company assets.
Interview Details:
Face-to-face interviews will be held in Istanbul during the second week of May.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, preservation, and start-up of new electrical equipment and facilities.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on field electrical equipment in the field and workshop, adhering to safe work practices.
- Ensure that required materials and spare parts are available and in good condition before starting maintenance activities, as per the work plan.
- Follow applicable maintenance procedures and implement proper controls to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records and provide close-out reports for all completed work as required by company standards and as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical field issues, as directed by Foreman/Supervisor, and provide timely reports on issues encountered.
- Review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), loop drawings, hook-up drawings, Electrical Index, datasheets, logic diagrams, and other relevant documents to address electrical equipment issues.
- Use calibrated and certified tools specific to the job and ensure compliance with Intrinsic Safety (IS) requirements.
- Actively participate in regular Toolbox meetings, reporting all Near Misses, Incidents, and Accidents during operations by raising B-Safe and observation cards.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures or operational issues and seek guidance from the Maintenance Superintendent, Vendor, and OEM support for more complex problems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Completion of Secondary School education followed by vocational training (TAFE).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a technician in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
