Honeywell'sACST team is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager for our Plymouth,MN location. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a teamof mechanical engineers on productization efforts. The successful candidatewill have a strong background in mechanical engineering and product development,specializing in the development and application of good engineering practices,GD&T, and management of transitioning concepts from R&D tomanufacturing. This leadership role will involve managing a team of engineersand researchers, partnering with R&D teams and Manufacturing teams to ensurethat practices are aligned with the latest advancements in mechanical systemsengineering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-
  • Manages a high performing team of Mechanical Engineers and CAD Specialists
  • Oversees technical work, ensures team execution of customer-driven milestones and deliverables
  • Champions engineering projects from proposal to build stage
  • Sets employees goals, manages achievement, mentors, conducts performance assessments
  • Provides direction into new products, process, standards, or op plans in alignment with business strategies
  • Manages and distributes team workload to ensure proper resource alignment
  • Ensures short- and long-term resource availability
  • Partners with other engineering managers on strategic direction of the greater team
  • Performs as a bridge between R&D and Manufacturing

The annual base salary or/ hourlypay range for this position is $138,000-172,000. Please note that thissalary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers variousfactors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope andresponsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, educationand training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
  • 8+ years of experience in Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams
  • Strong knowledge in Mechanical Engineering methodologies, tools, and application of industry standards and practices
  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance
