EngineeringNES Fircroft is partnered with a world leader in mining who is seeking an experienced experienced Asset Health Developer for an initial 6-month contract position based in their head office located in Brisbane CBD
As the Asset Health Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of predictive analytical models for Asset Health diagnosis and prognosis using the Asset Performance Management (APM) suite of tools.
You will be the subject matter expert and the go to person for all the training material supporting the business.

As the Asset Health Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of predictive analytical models for Asset Health diagnosis and prognosis using the Asset Performance Management (APM) suite of tools.

About the role
Main job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Development of predictive Asset Health models (Policies) within the APM Application.
- Monitor, evaluate and optimise the effectiveness of predictive Asset Health models.
- Support delivery of APM Capability Development program across the business in core pillar of Asset health Monitoring.
- Support coaching to the business in appropriate utilisation of APM Asset Health modules.
- Engage with business stakeholders to communicate opportunities for maintenance process improvement based on the outputs of analytics.
- Perform continuous improvement initiatives to ensure APM Asset Health Modules and Process is maintained 'fit for purpose.
About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience in asset health monitoring processes and procedures in complex capital-intensive industries.
- Tertiary qualification in technical/engineering.
- Data science, predictive modelling and demonstrated problem solving skills are required for this role with a background and experience with Control Systems and reliability beneficial.
- Working knowledge of Asset Performance Management software solution or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
