In concrete terms, you will be required to:
As part of your training at IFP school, we offer you the opportunity to join a team in the Process Department of Technip Energies Lyon.
The Lyon center is the group's center of expertise in the fields of sustainable chemistry and polymers. The Lyon centre also develops innovative technologies in sectors such as bio-based technologies and the circular economy.
You will be assigned to international projects in the field of chlorine chemistry and its derivatives. These different projects will allow you to discover the Chlor-Alkali processes (electrosynthesis of chlorine from alkali metal salts), and also various technologies in the field of polymers derived from chlorine chemistry (Polyvinyl Chloride, Epoxy Resins).
As a process engineer, you will be in charge of the following missions:
During this apprenticeship, you will be accompanied by a tutor to answer your various questions.

In order to be able to exchange in a multicultural environment, a good level of English is mandatory.
Desired duration: 18 months
Desired start: September 2025

- Development and simulation of process diagrams with material and heat balances,
- Dimensioning and issuing equipment and instrument specifications,
- Development of fluid circulation plans,
- Technical support from all specialists in the engineering chain,
- Technical and economic optimization studies,
During this apprenticeship, you will be accompanied by a tutor to answer your various questions.
What if it was you?
- In the course of an engineering training and IMPERATIVELY as part of a registration at IFP School for the start of the September 2025 academic year.
- Autonomous, dynamic and responsive, you have good communication skills and evolve with ease in a multicultural environment.
- You are comfortable with English.
