Job Title: Tooling Operations Lead

We are seeking a Tooling Operations Lead to oversee and manage the tooling system for a dynamic production environment. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills, ensuring all tools and equipment are available, maintained, and optimised for production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage budgets for new tools and equipment to support operational efficiency.

• Oversee inventory, maintenance, and repair of tooling and equipment, ensuring they meet production demands.

• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchases, and equipment servicing.

• Maintain comprehensive records of tooling performance, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.

• Lead a team in problem-solving initiatives, identifying issues and conducting root cause analysis.

• Implement strategies to optimise tooling processes and reduce downtime.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in managing budgets, vendor relationships, and tooling maintenance processes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand production setting.
