ELECTRICAL / HVAC SUPERVISOR
Job Opportunity: Electrical / HVAC Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical / HVAC Supervisor to join our client's team for a major oil and gas project in Uganda.
This role requires a skilled professional to oversee electrical discipline activities at the site, ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all electrical and HVAC maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, LOTO procedures, and electrical regulations.
  • Provide technical support to commissioning, start-up, and maintenance teams.
  • Oversee electrical repairs, workshop activities, and on-site interventions.
  • Monitor equipment performance and propose improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IECEX-ATEX standards for hazardous areas.
  • Conduct audits and performance evaluations of contractors.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
  • Expertise in electrical safety regulations and hazardous area installations.
  • Experience with high-voltage electrical installations and switchgear.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and CMIMS (e.g., SAP, UNISOL).
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; English fluency required.

  • Location: Uganda (Site-based, rotational)
  • Rotation: 28/28
  • Contract Duration: 18 months
  • Mobilisation: Q3 2024 (due to visa processing)
