Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a successful engineering department with the support of the design and delivery of the project pipeline across the renewable energy operations across the globe. You will be working closely with various departments within the business to design, develop, and implement engineering solutions whilst guaranteeing technical accuracy and excellence.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the team with technical guidance and improvement towards creating solutions for queries, investigations and issues.
• Identify and act upon any personal learning and development needs and mentor less experienced members to ensure a high level of technical expertise
• Provide support to colleagues and work in collaboration to contribute achieve the ultimate objective
• Ensure professional engineering services are appropriately observed
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills; possess the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions as and when necessary.

Requirements:

• Professional qualifications in Electrical or Renewable Engineering are essential
• Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineering Degree
• Experience within the power generation industry, design and construction of power stations is desirable
• Experience within the heavy industry would also be an advantage.
