Mechanical Superintendent – Wessling, Germany 

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join a dynamic project in Wessling, Germany. This is a full-time, site-based role with a start date in June 2025 and an expected duration of approximately 9 months. The role is open to candidates with the existing right to work in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the Mechanical Contractor’s site activities.
• Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
• Monitor and expedite construction activities, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to contractors to maintain safe and productive work environments.
• Review contractor competencies, procedures, staffing, and work processes.
• Assess and approve contractor method statements for safe and efficient execution of work.
• Support and enforce HSSE policies to maintain a safe workplace.
• Attend and contribute to construction and contractor meetings.
• Maintain daily logs and oversee the operation and maintenance of contractor facilities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Fluent German (oral & written) and good understanding of spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of German mechanical industry specifications, codes, and standards.
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and supervise contractors effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical construction projects with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
