By joining us as a Senior Engineer I, Procurement, you will be responsible for strategic sourcing and procurement activities such as e-Sourcing and Contract Management. You will provide support on engineering reviews and alternate sourcing projects. You will also help develop sourcing strategies, coordinate with vendors, negotiate contracts, analyze costs, and find ways to reduce procurement costs.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Utilize eSourcing (online reverse auction) as a sourcing tool to source parts at the best cost and effectively manage contracts using the Emerson Contract Management (ECM) System and other supplier agreement templates.
• Ensure up-to-date and accurate engineering drawings and datasheets.
• Demonstrate and effectively apply data administration skills in managing supply chain systems and databases.
• Identify and source potential substitute parts to avoid supply disruptions through effective Alternate Sourcing skills.
• Generate reports and presentations by applying strong analytical skills in metrics, reporting, and analytics.
• Drive business improvements by introducing innovative processes or engaging in continuous improvement of current processes or activities.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are in place and always up to date.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or other Engineering/Management-related courses.
• At least 3.5 years of relevant work experience in Procurement function in the manufacturing industry or supply chain role in the shared services industry.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities.
• Knowledgeable in environmental legislations (e.g., ROHS, REACH, etc.).
• Fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain and knowledge of Project Management.
• Basic understanding of procurement systems and tools (ERP, MRP, SRM).
• Basic understanding of Online Reverse Auction.
