In this role, your responsibilities will be

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of solutions based on NI SystemLink & Optimal Plus platforms ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Experience in Docker containers, Kubernetes, and container orchestration for scalable deployments.
• Set and maintain high-quality coding standards, enforcing source code control through Git, branching strategies, and code reviews.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and DevOps innovations to enhance development and deployment strategies.
• Develop Web UI & Dashboards for NI SystemLink & Optimal Plus to enhance user experience.
• Define and implement standard processes for software development and DevOps.
• Ensure robust data pipelines and support SystemLink & Optimal Plus data engineering.
• Collaborate with Software R&D teams and global teams for seamless integration.
• Guide and mentor a team of developers, providing technical leadership and support.
• Troubleshoot complex software, infrastructure, and automation challenges.
• Provide technical insights and document clear delivery methodologies.

For this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Confirmed data engineering experience, focusing on NI software (SystemLink and Optimal Plus).
• Proficiency in Python; experience with Java, C#, and JavaScript is advantageous.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular.
• Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps.
• Proven leadership experience in guiding software development teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred qualifications that set you a part:

• Experience with other NI tools and software.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of data integration and automation.
