About Company:

We are one of ADNOC's gas producers, a market leader in sour gas field development, and a major international sulfur producer. We have the capacity to produce over 1 billion cubic feet of sour gas per day.

We are a joint venture company between ADNOC, which owns a 60% share, and Occidental Petroleum (OXY), which owns a 40% share. We were established in 2010 to maximize the value of the Shah Gas Field. Since then, we have built a reputation as a reliable supplier of gas and one of the world's leading sulfur producers.

About the Role:

Provide engineering and technical support for Projects and Maintenance works related to Civil/Structural works. Ensure the reliability and integrity of all civil and structures items and the safety of all associated maintenance tasks. Ensure and participate in performing a variety of Civil & Structural Engineering duties. Review and comment project documents, Engineering for small projects. Prepare study reports for technical support requests from site, Review plant change requests and approve them. Participate in ADNOC committees related to Civil & Structural discipline.
Review, amend and approve Civil & Structural design basis, Specifications and Standards for projects
Review and approve technical deviations requests during Project phase
Prepare detailed scope of work for civil works of minor projects and to review scope of works for major projects prepared by consultants.
Review Contractors Technical proposals, variation orders and claims and prepare all relevant documents and forms to facilities effective contracting process of suitable service providers
Act as focal point for all civil/structural projects and engineering aspects of multidisciplinary projects.
Review and approve project documents related to Civil/Structural works
Prepare and update Civil Engineering maintenance standard, procedures to ensure the consistent and systematic application of 'best practice' international standards and continuous improvement
Together with the Operations Civil Engineer assist in the planning, directing, coordinating and controlling all Civil Maintenance and minor project activities for the pant to support timely completion of tasks as per plan while optimizing resources and conforming to ADNOC Sour Gas Lead Civil Team members in periodic audit of site maintenance activities.
Act as Technical Expert on civil engineering matters so can represent ADNOC Sour Gas in relevant interfaces with ADNOC and other companies matters on behalf of the Engineering Service Manager. As Technical Expert acts as an independent technical resource who is the decision authority on technical business processes such as Management of Change and design or technical safety reviews. Mentor and develop UAE Nationals in Civil Engineering, aiding ADNOC Sour gas in achieving Emiratization targets.
To enforce the implementation of ADNOC Sour Gas Health, Safety and Environment Management System and also promote awareness of its use among concerned personnel.
As required, prepare progress reports to keep management informed about the progress of all initiatives and to facilitate decision making
Perform other similar or related duties, as required.

Qualification & Experience :
-Bachelor's degree in in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
-10 years of experience in experience in Civil Engineering within a large industrial organization, shall be in the Oil and Gas industry.
