Responsibilities
- Load up and secure chemistry totes for jobs
- Perform rig-up and rig-out duties with equipment on location, as assigned by the Senior Operator and/or Supervisor
- Operate equipment and maintain and repair equipment, as required
- Regularly observe equipment-operating parameters
- Report potential problems to Senior Operator and/or Supervisor as required
- Run hoses and manifolds per rig up layout
- Perform jar tests and record information as required based on work instructions
- Track product inventory and burn rate
- Monitor hopper and flash mixer
- Flush and clean mixer, mixing tank and HL plumbing
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Follow safety protocols and wear PPE equipment as assigned
- Able to safely operate forklift and trailer
- Adhere to safe working procedures
- Maintain close contact with the Supervisor regarding work assignments
- Report all incidents and accidents to the Supervisor
- Maintain open, professional communications with all crewmembers and company representatives
Requirements
- 1-2 years previous oilfield experience, preferred experience on a Coil Tubing Unit, Pumping Unit experience or Service Rig
- Valid class 5 Driver's license
- Basic knowledge of equipment functions
- Able to understand and interpret instructions both written and verbal
- Able to identify dangerous conditions and act accordingly
- Thorough knowledge of safety policies and emergency procedures
- Able to interact responsibly with crewmembers, company representatives at all times
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to solve and troubleshoot problems
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Mechanically inclined
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus
