As an Advanced Certification Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and managing the certification process for our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise in certification strategies and your technical guidance will be crucial in ensuring the successful certification and continued compliance of our products.

You will report directly to our Sustaining Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Muncie, Indiana location. In this role, you will impact Honeywell by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining product quality, reducing time-to-market, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement in the certification process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the certification process for our products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Develop and implement certification strategies and plans for new products
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to product certification
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team
US Person Requirement:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
• Engineering Degree desired
2-3 years of experience in product certification
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
