We are working with a national operator to source a NLQ Mechanical Engineer. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis. Please see details below.

Title: NLQ Mechanical Engineer
Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice)
Location: Qatar Onshore with possible missions
Working Schedule: 5 days per week / 8-9 hours per day or as per project requirements.

--Experience Required--
Key Job Accountabilities
• Ensure Engineering Dossiers are delivered with a robust Mechanical Engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of International Standards, client standards, Project Basis of Design, and SOR.
• Ensure assigned project tasks are well managed in accordance with client safety regulations, the quality compliance, the project execution plan and contractual requirements that include:
• Thorough, efficient, and timely review of project Mechanical discipline documents, realization of potential derogations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimize and fit for purpose outcome.
• Assisting to project studies and meetings related to the Mechanical discipline as per project approved gate levels and design maturity.
• Identifying potential risks and scope changes, conducting initial impact assessment to provide detailed information to NLQ Engineering Coordinator.
• Ensure efficient communication with all other client engineering and functional team members.

--Minimum Requirements--
Qualifications
• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience Required
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Mechanical engineering and design in offshore Oil and Gas industry.
• Strong Mechanical knowledge in Static, Rotating and Packages related to Living Quarter are required
