As a Test Technician Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in testing and troubleshooting complex aerospace systems and components. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. In this role, you will impact the performance and reliability of our aerospace systems by conducting thorough testing, analyzing test data, and identifying and resolving any issues or anomalies. You will also be accountable for maintaining test equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting on complex electronic systems according to established procedures and specifications.
• Analyze test results and identify any issues or anomalies.
• Work with engineering teams to resolve technical problems and improve testing processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, results, and any modifications made.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

U.S. Citizen REQUIREMENTS

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

You Must Have
  • 4 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting aerospace systems and/or electrical components
  • Strong knowledge of test equipment and tools used in aerospace testing
  • Proficiency in interpreting test data and identifying anomalies or issues

We Value
  • High school Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Associate's degree in a technical field
  • Experience with environmental testing and qualification procedures
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations
