This position reports to

Service Team Leader

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with execute medium-to-high-complexity service work - installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits - according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB processes, standards and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: Onsite #onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification, Service division in Ireland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Perform site installation, testing & commissioning of MV/LV or HV products. • Perform other field service activities including troubleshooting, repairing, maintenance, replacement applications for MV/LV or HV products. • Perform service works according to ABB's technical, commercial and health & safety standards. • Identifying potential equipment failures and taking corrective actions, troubleshooting complex equipment failures, and making recommendations to avoid the problem in the future. • Perform trainings to customer at site and at ABB facilities. • Prepare the service reports and records that are necessary for the quality of service. • Prepare the tools and equipment that are related to the jobs on the to-do list. • Ensure customer satisfaction during / after deliveries

Qualifications for the role

• Qualified Electrician with at least 5 years' experience of Installation & maintenance MV/LV Switchgear.
• Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication
• skills.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of ABB or 3rd party Equipment.
• Good working knowledge of MV Protection relays.
• Strong background in Service & Maintenance.
• Excellent organizational and co-ordination skills with the ability to prioritize and manage peaks in workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with ABB employees in a professional manner, both in person and
• via telephone, and a strong focus on managing customer relationships.
• Excellent IT skills (inc. knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel).
• Clean full driving license.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
