We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-functional Project Engineer (PE) to join our team in Trinidad and Tobago. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Project Controls and extensive experience in brownfield projects (both onshore and offshore), ensuring comprehensive oversight and successful project execution.  This position will work closely with the client engineering team to prioritize and execute a portfolio of projects with a consistent backlog of projects with values ranging from <$10K to >$25MM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with client engineering team to oversee and manage all aspects of onshore and offshore brownfield projects as part of a portfolio, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Assist the client to identify brownfield scopes, and lead the preparation of proposals/CTRs with support of our Engineering Teams in Houston and Chennai.
• Implement and maintain effective Project Controls to monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies at both project and portfolio levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and coordination.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with client and industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure project compliance and safety.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and achievements.

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of proven experience in managing brownfield projects with a strong focus in Project Management and Project Controls.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment including daily interaction with client management.
• Local to Trinidad and Tobago, with a deep understanding of the regional industry and market.

 
Preferred Skills:

• 5 years of Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience in Trinidad and Tobago onshore and/or offshore oil and gas.
• Experience in multi-functional roles within engineering projects.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools for Project Controls.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
