We have an opportunity for an AdvancedManufacturing Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Katowice, where you willbe responsible for leading exciting and innovative automation projects acrossEMEA region to support technology transfer, elimination of the manualoperations and continuous improvement of manufacturing technologies to driveproductivity savings. This is a hybrid role, withexpectation of 50% of travel across EMEA region.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead technology transfer (repositioning) projects across EMEA region
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Identify, define, and develop automation applications for new and existing products
  • Research, study, and propose new technologies, processes, and industry trends
  • Lead capital investmentinitiatives, including identifying, evaluating, and justifying new technologies,creating equipment specification, equipment manufacturing, installation andcommissioning
  • Identity SPOF (Single Point of Failure) equipment and create back up plan
  • Develop and design solutions to turn manual operations into automation
  • Execution of EMEA manufacturing strategy

Key skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechatronics / Electronics / Mechanical / Automation Engineering / Machines Design
  • Manufacturing industry / min. 5 years of exp of leading automation projects
  • Automation experience, experience in designing controls system is an advantage
  • Experience with automation technologies like automated assembly, collaborative robots, AI, AGV and AMR
  • Knowledge of Machines design
  • Knowledge of computer aided design and/or engineering tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge of PLC programming
  • Ability to drive processes and work in international environment
  • Experience with working with the subcontractors and equipment vendors
  • Systems integration skills
  • Very good communication in English
