JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Mechanical engineer, who is obtained bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The candidate must understand Basic Mechanical Engineering Concepts and drawings. The minimum1 year of experience or Fresh Graduate.

Primary Responsibilities:

Understand scope of work, Design requirements, Assisting Sr. Engineer, Co-Ordination with internal Depts/ Sub-Contractors/ Customer, Manage Designers/Draftsmen.

Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities:

• Preparation of MTO, LAY, SCH for low-pressure, High-Pressure piping.
• Preparation of calculation - Pipe Wall Thickness, Sizing, Pump sizing.
• Knowledge about piping standards and codes (ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5 etc)
• Basic knowledge about rotary and static equipment, Piping material grades, Valve specs.
• Basic knowledge of land rigs.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and layouts.
• Give direction to designers and draftsmen.
• Ability to communicate effectively to other departments (i.e., operations, SCM, sales, I&C, production, QA/QC), Customers & Sub-Contractors.
• Ability to review vendor quotes.
• Ability to visit rig to perform onboard surveys and prepare reports.
• Knowledge with ACAD, SolidWorks is preferred.
• Perform another work-related task as assigned.
• Comply with all ARM HSE procedures and policies.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• One year experience or Fresh Graduate.

Experience Required:

• Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering Basics.
