Our client, a leader in the Midstream Oil & Gas sector, is seeking a Project Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support capital projects focused on pipelines, tank farms, and terminal locations. This position emphasizes engineering drawing reviews and as-built processes, requiring someone with a solid grasp of project scopes, strong organizational skills, and technical drawing fluency — particularly in P&IDs, PFDs, electrical single lines, and other relevant deliverables.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer with a passion for project execution and an eye for technical documentation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project scopes to identify required engineering drawing deliverables (e.g., P&IDs, PFDs, General Site Plans, Environmental Drawings, Electrical One-Lines).

  • Develop and manage the process documentation for drawing as-builts across capital projects.

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and EPC firms to assemble engineering drawing packages and ensure accurate asset tagging in the field.

  • Oversee contractor selection and execution of drawing as-built work and asset tagging activities.

  • Track and report on the status of drawing as-built completion to internal stakeholders.

  • Support terminal and pipeline projects by providing engineering drawing and scope clarity across phases of project execution.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical preferred; other disciplines considered).

  • 3–5 years of industry experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or related heavy industrial projects.

  • Proficient in reviewing and interpreting technical engineering drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, One-Lines, etc.).

  • Experience working with capital project scopes and deliverables.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized and manage multiple project inputs simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working on Tank Farm and Terminal projects.

  • Familiarity with as-built documentation processes and field asset verification/tagging.

  • Experience liaising with engineering contractors and construction managers.
