Airswift is recruiting a Senior Production Engineer for a temporary position (6 months) based in Mexico city. This is an exciting opportunity to support a key client in the Oil & Gas sector on a strategic short-term project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ALS (Artificial Lift System) definition by performing nodal analysis and ALS sensitivity studies (GL and ESP), considering various well life cycle stages and expected production forecasts based on project maturity.
• Contribute to well intervention analysis and planning, covering heavy, medium, and light interventions with impact on production performance.
• Assist in well cleanup assessments by conducting simulations, defining initial rates, expected duration, and fluid analysis.
• Support integrated production modelling efforts, taking into account facilities constraints and multiple production scenarios.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Over 15 years of relevant experience in production engineering and optimization.
• Strong technical knowledge in petroleum engineering, nodal analysis, integrated production modelling (IPM), production optimization, field surveillance, and flow assurance.
• Proficiency in artificial lift system design and optimization techniques, including Gas Lift, SRP, HJP, and ESP.
• Hands-on experience with production modelling software such as Petex Suite and Pipesim.
• Knowledge of technologies for inflow/outflow optimization, stimulation, enhanced perforation, and well treatment methods.
• Previous experience with offshore platform operations and subsea project environments.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work in integrated teams across multiple disciplines.
