As a Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you willcoordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaborationand ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of projectprogress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will helpmaintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. You will reportdirectly to our missiles department and you will work out of our Clearwater,Florida location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring thesuccessful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects in theaerospace industry, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation tocompletion
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration withstakeholders
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, andresource allocation
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure projectsuccess
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, andquality standards
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technicaldiscipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in project management or engineering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
WE VALUE
• Master's degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in defense programs or related industry
• Project management certification (PMP)
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
