Responsibilities
  • Review field engineering and site documentation from contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines, and track the integration of feedback.
  • Confirm all engineering holds related to the discipline are resolved prior to installation or properly recorded and maintained in a master log.
  • Ensure that all change requests and notifications are systematically recorded, tracked, and implemented by contractors.
  • Oversee the management of engineering mark-ups and redlines, ensuring accurate transfer and formal issuance between subcontractors.
  • Review construction execution plans, participate in constructability assessments, and support pipe spooling operations.
  • Verify that only Approved for Construction (AFC) documentation is used by site personnel.
  • Supervise equipment installation activities in line with vendor guidelines, site procedures (e.g., ceramic drying), 3D models, layout plans, and structural drawings.
  • Confirm correct nozzle placements, elevations, and orientations as per general arrangement and piping drawings.
  • Identify and log fabrication discrepancies as punch items, ensuring proper documentation by the contractor.
  • Participate in technical assessments during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
  • Oversee testing processes including site acceptance tests and pre-commissioning of static equipment and storage tanks.
  • Support the implementation of structured pre-commissioning methodologies.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of Site Acceptance Tests and in maintaining commissioning tracking systems.
  • Contribute to tracking progress and punch list resolution through dedicated commissioning tools.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors, particularly in infrastructure or construction projects, with strong familiarity with safety practices and industry standards.
  • Prior experience with international operators on large-scale energy projects is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid understanding of production equipment, process systems, and utility operations in oil and gas facilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills.
