Job Title: EPC Senior HSE Manager

Job Purpose:
The EPC Senior HSE Manager is responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management across oil and gas EPC projects. This role ensures compliance with international HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies to safeguard personnel, assets, and the environment. The manager develops and implements HSE strategies, risk assessments, and training programs to promote a strong safety culture and mitigate operational risks in high-risk EPC projects.
Responsibilities:
- Policy & Procedure Development: Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in line with international standards and local regulations.
- Compliance & Safety Regulations: Ensure compliance with industry-specific safety regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and environmental legislation.
- Risk Assessments & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning for all EPC project phases.
- Incident Investigations & Corrective Actions: Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Training & Awareness: Provide HSE training, awareness programs, and behavioral safety initiatives for employees and contractors.
- Auditing & Monitoring: Monitor and audit site operations to ensure adherence to HSE protocols and best practices.
- Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and regulatory authorities to maintain high safety standards.
- Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Implement emergency response plans and crisis management protocols for high-risk situations.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze HSE performance metrics, identify trends, and develop improvement strategies.
- Leadership: Lead HSE teams, ensuring continuous development and adherence to safety excellence principles.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant supervisory position.
- GCC Experience: 2 years of experience in the GCC region is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
- HSE Standards & Risk Management: Strong knowledge of international HSE standards, risk management, and safety regulations in the oil and gas EPC sector.
- Auditing & Investigations: Expertise in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Management Systems: Proficiency in HSE management systems and reporting tools.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- ERP Knowledge: ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is required to be successful in this role.
