JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the layout and design of assigned tasks within designated project(s).
• Obtain and seek guidance from Pumps & expendables Engineers on tasks and project(s).
• Provide required calculations and documentation for any checked and/or approved design.
• Utilize Solidworks, MathCad, Excel, Word and Power Point to create engineering documents and drawings to enable manufacture without ambiguity and to present findings/conclusions.
• Verify and check drawings and layouts.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned while following NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Present results at end of employment term.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of or exposure to mechanical systems and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with or exposure to Solidworks and MathCad.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel for data analysis and/or familiarity with other analysis tools
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with diverse groups of personnel
• Analytical skills and interpret data to drive decision-making.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Open-minded and receptive to feedback, with a commitment to ongoing improvement and development

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in a B.S Engineering program at an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
