Your Role:
As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will:
- Design and calculate hydraulic systems and components aligned with international marine and offshore industry standards.
- Prepare Hydraulic Flow Diagrams, bills of material, technical documentation, test procedures, and engineering reports.
- Lead and contribute to development projects, influencing innovative products and system solutions.
- Standardize hydraulic systems and components to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Provide technical support to Aftermarket, FE, Sales teams, and customers.
- Take charge of cross-functional tasks and internal activities.
- Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams within NOV.
- Embrace and promote a culture of safety, sustainability, equality, and diversity.
- Travel occasionally to support projects and customers globally.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Preferably 5 years of relevant experience, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of advanced hydraulic theory and its practical application in designing complex circuits.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems and components.
- Experience with hydraulic systems for land and offshore drill floor equipment is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic components and industry suppliers.
- Understanding of relevant regulations (ISO, DNV, ABS, PED, SAE, ANSI).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts clearly.
