Position: Senior/Lead Pre-Commissioning Engineer
Location: France - Suresnes
Duration: 1 year renewable contract

Airswift is partnering with a leading global Subsea Engineering Company to support the recruitment of a Senior/Lead Pre-Commissioning Engineer for a long-term project. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a world-class team delivering complex offshore pipeline and umbilical scopes across international projects.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in EPCI/SURF project environments, a strong background in pre-commissioning engineering, and the flexibility to work between France and offshore/onshore execution sites.

Technical Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification (mandatory)
• 6+ years experience in EPCI/SURF projects (essential)
• Deep expertise in pipeline and umbilical pre-commissioning
• Experience in both onshore and offshore execution
• Familiar with HAZID/HIRA processes and supplier function testing
• Able to manage mobilisation/demobilisation of equipment and subcontractors

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of contractual structures and responsibilities
• Capability to contribute to engineering reviews
• Competent in supervising operations and leading toolbox talks
• Comfortable with audit participation and project reporting
• Experience in managing 3rd party subcontractors on fabrication sites and vessels

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Can oversee junior engineers and support a wider project team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams
• Highly organized with strong reporting abilities
• Delivers presentable, high-quality work under tight deadlines

Work Environment Fit

• Flexible with travel (France, UK, Angola, Brazil)
• Willing and able to work offshore/onshore (approx. 50% of time)
• Comfortable with non-rotational assignments, up to 6-week missions
