Overview

Urbacon Concessions Investments is looking for a skilled Concession Senior O&M Engineer to oversee the operations and maintenance (O&M) of large-scale infrastructure projects within the concession framework. This role ensures that assets operate efficiently, meet performance standards, and comply with regulatory and contractual obligations while optimizing asset performance and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement O&M strategies in line with concession agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal performance
• Monitor the operational performance of assets, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reductions
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset lifecycle and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and technical regulations governing concession projects
• Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and equipment suppliers to ensure smooth maintenance and operational support
• Support the implementation of digital monitoring and automation technologies to improve O&M efficiency
• Conduct technical assessments and risk evaluations to identify and mitigate potential operational failures
• Prepare detailed reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, and compliance for concession stakeholders
• Assist in optimizing O&M budgets, ensuring effective and cost-efficient management of assets
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operational staff

   

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience, with 3 years in a relevant role
• 2 years of GCC experience is a plus
• Expertise in O&M strategies, asset lifecycle management, and concession-based infrastructure operations
• Strong knowledge of power plant, oil & gas, and energy & utilities systems, including regulatory compliance
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies, automation, and digital monitoring tools
• Excellent problem-solving, technical analysis, and communication skills
• ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) required
