Automation lead will be working with the System Integration team located globally, within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)-based organization aimed at delivering world-quality process control products built across web, cloud, PC and embedded platforms, integrated with locally developed hardware.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Working with the test automation team for developing testing strategy of the project, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI Automation, functional automation, performance/load, and so on).
- Supporting to develop automated test frameworks and test cases for the different types of tests employed.
- Implementing and reporting on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests.
- Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Generating new ideas, for improving the quality and productivity of the team.
- Be proactive in keeping your skills fresh.
- Reviewing and providing detailed feedback on peers' design and code
- Providing accurate estimates and effectively communicate status.
- Participating in agile standard processes and a culture of relentless improvement

For This Role, You Will Need:
- 4-7 years of Test Automation experience testing experience using C#, with one or more of the following test automation tools: Appium, Selenium, TestStack.White, Coded UI.
- Possess knowledge of programming languages like PowerShell, Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps, TFS, MTM, GIT.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies including Microsoft Hyper-V or VMWare installation and administration.
- Possess a burning desire to get into automation, coupled with programming experience and a strong work ethic.
- Able to create clear, concise, meticulous test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
- Demonstrated pattern of going beyond your test plan when you see something that looks odd, then understand why it behaved that way, and to see if a problem exists.
- High attention to detail with proven ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities of various sizes and complexities. A track record of making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires you to use your initiative, imagination, and common sense to be successful.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to collaborate and work successfully with teams across the organization. Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- An appreciation for pragmatism and simplicity in solutions.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. A relevant master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Shows leadership skills when working in teams.
- Experience with Agile software development (particularly Scrum).
- Knowledge of standard processes for agile testing on a Scrum team.
- Experience using a test case management system.
- Be accurate and deliver quality.
