Greenscape Environmental Services is seeking a Solar Technician Extern for the 2025 DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DCSEU) Summer 2025 Cohort. The program will run from Monday June 9th, 2015 through Friday, September 19, 2025. Twice a year, DCSEU connects District residents with 4-month paid green externships working with local contractors and organizations.
DCSEU links District residents who are new to the workforce, between jobs, or looking for a career change with local contractors, businesses, municipal agencies, and other key players in the green economy. The Workforce Development Program is designed to help prepare residents for shifting job markets and emerging green careers while increasing the capacity of local contractors and organizations working in the sustainable energy sector.

*4-MONTH ASSIGNMENT
The Technician works in the general construction industry and electrical trade.
Technicians complete installations and repairs in a safe and timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
Complete work orders in an efficient, professional manner each day.

- Install measures according to work order specifications.
Respond to customer inquiries in accordance with company guidelines. - Follow industry standards regarding safety policies and procedures.
Maintain tools in a clean and orderly manner. - Performs other related duties as assigned
