What You'll Do

As a Generator Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our customers powered and protected. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing scheduled maintenance on diesel and natural gas generators
Troubleshooting & diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
Repairing or replacing components like engines, alternators, voltage regulators, & control panels
Conducting load bank testing and other performance evaluations
Installing new generator systems to code and replacing outdated units
Maintaining accurate service records and following safety protocols
Communicating with dispatch, management, and parts teams to ensure efficiency
Keeping your company vehicle clean and stocked with necessary parts
Participating in the on-call rotation

What You Bring to the Team
• High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or certification preferred)
• Proven experience in generator maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, & PLCs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read & interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Safety-conscious mindset and ability to follow safety guidelines
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Gas work experience? That's a plus!
