Your role and responsibilities
In our EMEA ELSE Discovery Trainee Program, you will develop a skills necessary to kickstart a career in the Service division in ABB Ireland. As a trainee you will be a part of community, and you will participate in activities with other trainees like taking parts in trainings to enhance soft & technical skills, meeting project deadlines, and engaging in diverse social and team-building activities to expand your network within ABB. Throughout the program you will also receive support from the Program Lead. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB's businesses, collaborate with different leaders and teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by your leader. You will also aspire to achieve your career goals by participating in professional development. The work model for the role is: #hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification, Service division in Ireland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Formulates competitive bids/estimates/quotations, considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation. • Ensures tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs. • Manages the preparation of all technical (e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type(s). • In accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, it ensures that inputs for editing activities are provided on time and according to established quality procedures. • Provides any necessary technical support to the Sales Team during technical meetings with customers.

Qualifications for the role
- Recent completed bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
- Understanding of tendering processes and project management principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
