Apply technical, design, analytical & project execution skills in Fluid Catalytic Cracking units. Utilize technology related to design & operation of catalytic crackers, including converter & regenerator equipment design, fluidized bed performance, internal separation design (e.g., cyclones and separators) & piping and controls systems necessary to support the equipment. Apply knowledge of unit operations & activities relating to refinery turnarounds & start up processes ensuring compliance with ASME & ANSI equipment & piping standards. Develop design parameters & methodologies including feasibility studies, Front-End Engineering, detailed engineering through to project execution. Apply process simulation, equipment & hydraulic design calculations, & control systems to meet project specification & determine optimal performance. Prepare technically correct & safe deliverables. Mentor, check, & lead less experienced engineers. Provide support to all project activities from engineering to start-up. Interface with other engineering disciplines & design team. Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning & start-up to ensure design performance requirements are met. Report on activities within studies, projects & operations management. Guarantee compliance of process engineering solutions with client requirements & industry standards by meeting key performance indicators for technical quality & schedule/budget targets.
Position requires 10% national or international travel.
Job Requirements Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, and 2 years of experience in job offered or in a Principal Process Engineer-related occupation. Foreign Language, Licenses, and Certifications Contact Instructions
