As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex projects in the aerospace industry. You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location.
In this role, you will impact the aerospace industry by guiding and executing projects that deliver high-quality solutions to our customers. You will be accountable for managing project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring successful project delivery. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success and ensure customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and execute complex projects in the aerospace industry
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success
- Manage BOM part number data, Where Used Assembly records, Demand and Inventory Levels to keep a healthy portfolio of products
- Participate in executive reviews and discussions to identify new projects for Excess & Obsolete inventory reduction
- Provide technical support to current reconfiguration/modification projects in execution to improve product margin and improve Profit & Loss
- Technical data extraction from engineering drawings for various commodities like Machining, Casting, Sheet Metal, Forging, CCA, etc., to analyze part modification/upgrade/scavenge opportunities.
- Identify key cost drivers & suggest alternate low-cost manufacturing solutions.
- Responsible for Excess and Obsolete save Projects, Planning and Execution.
- Develop and deploy analytical and data driven solutions to identify productivity opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Participate in and/or lead tools and processes development and systems improvement initiatives
- Work closely with supporting functions such manufacturing, planning, engineering, Honeywell senior executives, program managers, and customer business team to maximize the return on investment of E&O inventory projects.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering
- 3+ years of engineering, program management or integrated supply chain experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English

- Good Knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes under various commodities like Machining, Sheet Metal, Casting, Forgings, and Mechanical Assemblies.
- Ability to understand and establish priorities in a complex and demanding environment.
- Work in a matrix environment focusing on building relationships and driving improvements over multiple locations.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Lean Six Sigma Methodology. Green Belt Certification is a plus.
- Proficient using Share Point Tools, and Microsoft Applications (Excel, Macros, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook)
- Good work acumen and projection among Leadership presence
- Positive attitude and professional image with impeccable business ethics
- A self-starter who takes the initiative, and is well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
