Senior Advanced V&V Engineer - hybrid

Join us as a Senior Advanced V&V Engineer at Honeywell, in Timisoara - this is a hybrid role, 3 days atthe office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities:

• Writing the test plan after analyzing the requirement and specifications, implementing detailed test scenarios that include preconditions, actions taken, and postconditions.
• Transposing test scenarios in the form of automated tests, designing and development of software components to perform the testing of the solution in an automatic manner, in compliance with the defined test scenarios.
• Collaborating and communicates frequently with other members of the R&D (Engineering) department,as well as with other departments. Participating actively in customer meetingsand workshops, leads FAT, SAT and UAT sessions.
• Participating in the product verification process to identify programming / design / configuration errors. Checking if the product is built in accordance with the requirements, specifications and standards.
• Participating in the product validation process, to ensure that the product covers operational needs, that it can be used as intended and that it will be usable on the market, participating in the product validation process, to ensure that the product covers operational needs, that it can be used as intended and that it will be usable on the market.

Key skills and qualifications:

• Solid system test background (5+ years in an international multicultural environment), efficient software development skills for test-automation development in Python and PyTest.
• Fluent English (another European language is a plus)
• Experience working with and testing REST and SOAP web-services (e.g. Postman, SoapUI), experience testing device communication protocols and physical device interfaces.
• Good knowledge of cyber-security aspects, good knowledge of cryptography essentials (symmetrical algorithms, asymmetrical algorithms, digital certificates),efficient in using Wireshark.
• efficient working in Linux terminal (RedHat, CentOS), good command of bash scripting, general database knowledge, efficient in writing SQL scripts and queries.
