Play an integral role in design and development

The SDS Lead Engineer is responsible for the design and development of products for the subsea oil fields distribution system. You will work in a multicultural team of cross functional specialists, being responsible for definition of product requirements, design of new products and development of new solutions for existing products. You will contribute to technological development, provide technical information and support to clients and colleagues. You will Leads and coordinate suppliers during product design, manufacturing and testing.

• Establish technical requirements basing on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards
• Lead and contribute on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule
• Work cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.
• Present design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.
• Manage engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements.
• Provide engineering support to program management and any other stakeholder.
• Support the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products
• Provides consultancy advice to the project bid team.

• Master degree of Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
• Expert in 3D CAD modelling.
• Proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility
• Strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
