Role Responsibilities
- Lead the management of EPC/EPCC construction contracts with a focus on offshore/subsea packages.
- Ensure legal compliance by applying strong knowledge of construction law.
- Administer, negotiate, and monitor contracts effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and control resources while offering pragmatic problem-solving solutions.
- Taking charge of the management of complex EPC/EPCC construction contracts, specifically focusing on offshore and subsea packages. This will include ensuring all contractual obligations are met and risks are minimized.
- Applying your in-depth knowledge of construction law to ensure every aspect of the project adheres to legal standards and best practices, safeguarding the integrity of the project.
- Effectively administering, negotiating, and monitoring contracts throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. This includes pre-award preparations, ongoing contract management during execution, and closure through the final account.
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Diploma: Master Construction Law, Business, Qualification in Engineering / Construction Science would be a plus
- 10 years' experience in preparation, negotiation, monitoring of EPC/EPCI construction technical contracts in offshore/marine Oil & Gas Projects.
- Experience with SURF/EPCI packages is a must
- International experience required
- Knowledge and understanding of contract processes in projects.
- Good general knowledge of project control, commercial, legal and insurance matters, and "in depth" understanding where relevant to construction and supply contracts.
- Understanding of different means of contractor remuneration and their commercial implications, practical experience of their use.
