NES Qatar is currently looking for a Project Civil Engineer for our Qatar-based Petrochemical client. This is a direct hire role that also offers family benefits.

To ensure the successful completion of all activities by defining the scope, creating a detailed work plan, allocating resources, and developing a schedule. The role involves monitoring progress, communicating with stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in managing construction, commissioning, and handover of engineering projects in refinery, petrochemical, or chemical plants, with a demonstrable track record in compliance with Health, Safety & Environment standards.
• Knowledge: Exposure to engineering and construction codes, standards, and recommended practices including QCS, API, NFPA, OSHA, and ASTM is essential.
• Skills: A sound knowledge of relevant computer applications including the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management-related applications such as Primavera, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Education: Must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. A Project Management training certificate would be an added advantage.
