This position reports to

Production Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the completion of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, cybersecurity policies and standards. Each day, you will assist Test Engineers with product and system testing. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing standard test records and completing test documentation. The work model for the role is: onsite # LI-onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Business Area in South Korea. You will be mainly accountable for: • Supporting the testing of industrial drive cabinets and conducting factory acceptance tests. • Maintaining test reports and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal, or ABB internal requirements. • Supporting risk assessments to assure safe and cybersecure systems of work and taking appropriate actions. • Utilizing standardized processes and tools and maintaining/calibrating them. • Assisting in carrying out tests and inspections at suppliers' premises to meet contractual obligations.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree (2 yrs college) in Electrical Engineering
• 0 - 2 years experience in the Electrification industry would be preferred
• Electrical Engineer, Engineer Electric Work Engineer or any relevant certificate would be preferred
• Business level in English with both written and verbal communication skills, and native in Korean
