About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Product Maturation Engineer to support the continuous development and enhancement of live digital solutions within a major energy operator's digital ecosystem. This role will drive product strategy, oversee the lifecycle of digital solutions, and ensure seamless integration and maturity of user-centric use cases across departments.

The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping a unified digital framework and accelerating value delivery through cross-functional alignment and agile product evolution. You will also lead the transition of digital products to support and maintenance stages once operational readiness is achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement and functional alignment of live digital products with evolving business needs

• Define and guide product strategy and vision to ensure sustained value and expansion of user base

• Monitor and manage product backlogs, collaborating with Product Owners to prioritise enhancements

• Lead product enhancement activities, ensuring smooth transitions to application support teams

• Oversee delivery of digital product features and ensure maturity for operational support

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver platform-based solutions

• Support development of a digital product lifecycle framework and contribute to governance structures

• Provide technical and strategic guidance on digital solution architectures

• Coordinate with business units to align digital initiatives under a common framework

• Maintain a holistic view of all active use cases and their alignment with enterprise digital architecture

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; ideally in IT or Engineering

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including experience managing digital technology programmes

• Previous exposure to digital programmes in the oil and gas sector highly desirable

• Strong understanding of digital product lifecycle and agile development practices

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Ability to support multi-disciplinary teams and operate at all organisational levels

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
