Job Title: Head of Offshore Production
Location: Doha, Qatar (Office-based role with on/off offshore rotation)

Job Purpose
Lead and manage the production activities of designated offshore assets. Responsible for safe, reliable, and efficient operations, guiding a multidisciplinary offshore team and ensuring compliance with operational procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily offshore production operations and direct a team of 20–25 personnel.

Ensure facility integrity, reliability, safety, and performance standards are met.

Lead incident response as the Production Section Lead during emergencies.

Collaborate with onshore planning, maintenance, logistics, and engineering teams.

Monitor and manage operational risks, implementing safety initiatives and ALARP principles.

Ensure effective application and auditing of Permit to Work (PTW) systems.

Support facility shutdowns, pigging, and subsea inspection activities.

Participate in project expansions and integration of SIMOPs without disrupting operations.

Drive cost optimization strategies and manage operational budgets.

Ensure compliance with internal competency assurance and operational procedures.

Coach and support national staff in line with workforce development objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Process, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong technical background in offshore production systems and operations.

Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Proficient with business software and SAP.

Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
