Senior Subsea Packages EPC Contract Engineer - Paris

On behalf of a major operator, WRS are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Engineer to manage complex subsea packages (SPS and SURF) for major offshore EPC projects. This role requires deep expertise in contract engineering and administration within high-value capital projects, with a strong emphasis on tendering, claim management, and cross-functional coordination.

The role will be based residentially in Paris, working on a 12 month renewable contract set-up, paying a day rate in Euros.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead contract and procurement activities for designated SPS and/or SURF packages.
• Structure and manage complex tendering processes (e.g., CCFT, OBE/OBT, FEED ).
• Evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and support award recommendations.
• Oversee contract governance, ensuring alignment with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for designated projects.
• Support claims and counterclaims through analysis, drafting, and resolution recommendations.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 20 years’ experience in EPC contract engineering and administration for offshore projects.
• Minimum 10 years’ recent experience managing CFT and contract administration for SPS and SURF packages.
• Strong familiarity with high CAPEX projects (ranging from $50M to $3B).
• Proven capability in claim management and contractual risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Fluency in English; French proficiency is a plus.
