NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major Oil & Gas  operator looking to add a ISBL supervisor to join their team in Oman working on a LNG project.
The role will be on an initial 12 month contract with excellent potential to extend. It will require a candidate to be based from their office in Sohar - Oman full time Monday – Friday. 
Key Responsibilities:
• Be a safety leader and spread the safety culture and messages to all parties involved in the Project, also by using his Stop
Work authority as required.
• Ensure that corporate and local Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and regulations are applied on project activities.
• To support the deployment and application of HSE principles and rules as a core value within project CPY and CTR teams
• Ensure the construction activities of all the ISBLs are performed so to ensure the relevant level of safety measures, in line
with project specifications.
• Be responsible to immediately report or cascade down any incidents in his area.
• Communicates and applies the H3SE policies of the COMPANY and ensure the Construction is developed accordingly
Activities
  • To adopt and to demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE, to respect Project
  • HSE requirements/regulations and to ensure implementation of HSE rules.
  • HSES performance in execution of works in his area.
  • To ensure that the construction is done in respect to the design dossier and in line with the
  • Statement of Requirements.
  • Area readiness and resources availability to start new work fronts
  • To maintain work plans with the Contractor (if applicable; otherwise with sub-Contractors) to
  • have all deliverables appropriate plans, procedures and programs for safe and effective
  • execution; issued on time as per project schedule constraint and implementation of the same
  • in execution activities. This is inclusive of all the stakeholders not defined as Contractor but
  • contributing to the ISBL Civil and Structural scope of work.
  • Construction sustainable progress with smooth resolution of issues.
  • To report to the ISBL Superintendent regularly and when decisions impacting the works must
  • be taken.
  • Site Progress reporting verification and production as required, with highlights on potential
  • schedule overrun and possible mitigations Ensure that reviews and comments of contractor’s
  • documents are performed in due time.
  • To propose actions as required for the proper execution of the activities under his
  • responsibility. Resolution of issues raised by EPC Contractor and other stakeholders, whether
  • technical or organizational, in line with his management as required
  • To ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced (whatever its support)

Qualifications:
  • Experience on large scale oil and gas projects from both owner and contractor perspective, with focusing on
  • multidisciplinary ISBL works but focus in Civil and Steel St.
  • • Ability to schedule priorities and multi-task within time and budget requirements.
  • • Engineering degree, with minimum 5-year more oil & gas construction experience or equivalent experience
  • specific to complex industrial ISBL execution such as all disciplines involved, Civil and Structural, Mechanical,
  • pre-commissioning works.
  • • Strong HSE culture and safety leadership.
  • • Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence critical decision agreements regarding
  • safety, schedule and cost.
  • • English written and verbal communication skills, Arabic or French is a plus.
  • • Ability to encourage and work within a team culture in a multinational environment.
  • • Communication, Organization, Planning, Time management and Reporting skills.
