Ensures that lifting equipment (LE) plans, method statements and LE certificates are reviewed and approved in compliance to with statutory requirements, QatarEnergy's L.E. Standard and relevant international standards and that the appropriate risk controls measures are established.
Ensures that all lifting equipment is supplied, inspected, tested and certified in accordance with QatarEnergy Corporate Standards and Procedure. Job
Experience
1- Minimum of 12 years' experience in Lifting Operation and Lifting Equipment functions, with exposure on construction safety for offshore oil & gas projects. Experience shall include at least 3 years in senior position in in well reputed Oil & Gas Operator, Worldwide Third-party Consultant, or EPIC contractors. It is desirable that candidate possess others professional qualifications relevant to quality i.e. ISO/IRCA/ASME/API/NACE/ASNT/TWI/AWS etc.
2- The candidate shall be Certified by LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) Foundation Scheme and at least one of the LEEA advance program that focuses on the inspection and thorough examination of lifting machines, accessories, Cranes, offshore containers with at least 3 years implementation after been certified.
3-Familiarity with QHSE and Environmental regulatory regimes, international safety & quality engineering codes and standards.
4- Exposure to Accident/Incident investigation, NCRs/CARs, review, and learning from HSE incidents and non-conformities that occur within projects and business activities and ensure implementation and close-out of preventive and corrective actions.
5- Proficiency level in the use of the English language (both written & spoken) should be high and should be in position to prepare and present periodic reports on HS, Environment and Quality.
6-Work experience in the Arabian Gulf Countries is desirable.
Qualifications
BSc/BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering, Preference for Lead Auditor IMS (Integrated Management Systems) certification.
