This position reports to

HREX Project and Release Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Accountable for managing projects specifically for the HR Experience Organization, including the development of project plans, risk log, budget management and providing status reports to ensure project alignment and success. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Develops project plans for the specified projects outlining timelines, milestones, and re-source requirements impacting in-scope applications and/or processes. • Manages the overall risks and issues as part of the project through a RAID log and develops strategies for mitigation. • Provides regular status reports to ensure project alignment and success to leadership. • Coordinates with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and proposed out-comes and manages from project execution to project handover. • Collaborates with HR and IS teams, divisions and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. • Facilitates communication and manages expectations throughout the project lifecycle. • Develops and manages the project budget, ensuring effective use of resources. • Leads the identification, planning and coordination of IS projects, managing interdependencies, providing the framework for implementing business initiatives and communicating the vision. • Manages the overall project execution from planning to monitoring and control to hand over to BAU. • Analyses project risks and provides appropriate reports to the Technology Service Owner on progress. • Plans, schedules, coordinates, and delivers the IS project outcomes to time, scope, cost and agreed quality. • Defines, with key stakeholders, the scope of work, cost/budget, resources required, time schedule, and detailed work allocation. • Coordinates and prioritizes project tasks, manages timelines, maintains project plans, and communicates status to key stakeholders. • Defines, jointly with key stakeholders, all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans. • Effectively organizes, monitors and controls activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates and efficient utilization of available resources. • Monitors and controls project cost and financials. Identifies, contains and reduces risk, and ensures that all opportunities are captured and acted upon. • Uses knowledge and experience to assess what lies ahead at the initial stages of the project, assessing what information they have and don't have, the risks and issues that may arise during the project and to decide on the best way to proceed.

Qualifications for the role

• 8yrs+ experience in the relevant area - SDLS
• with hands-on experience in similar role - project manager/ product manager/ program manager
• Experience in using Microsoft project planner
• Leadership skills, motivating a team (project/)
• Experienced in Agile project Management methodology
• Experience in managing global and remote teams
• Effective communication and influencing skills
• Senior stakeholders' management and experience with managing multiple stakeholder groups
