Essential skills and knowledge
- Shall be capable of independently offering technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc., to an appreciable extent for PAGA system which shall include but not be limited to central
control head end equipment, amplifiers, and field equipment such as intelligent speaker boards, speakers, horns, beacons etc. - Should have rendered technical support and services to cover preventive and corrective maintenance and Online monitoring of PAGA system installations.
- Shall be able to perform assigned recurring / process controls based on the risk assessments. These include log monitoring, system scans for antivirus and DAT updates, vulnerability patching, taking system applications and OS backups, including event log and configuration backups for PAGA system installed equipment.
- Maintenance activities may also include system recovery involving reinstallation backed up application and system configuration.
- Shall be able to independently prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s), raise and get approved work permits and provide required support and assistance in raising eMOC’s, Risk Analysis report, Incident report etc.
- Calibration of amplifiers, configuration of industrial switches, handling fiber cabling infrastructure etc. would be required as part of system support activities.

Essential skills and knowledge
- Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic engineering from a reputed University or recognized equivalent to a minimum.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience out of which at least 3 years should have been in the oil and gas industry with Hands-on experience in maintenance of plant PAGA (Public Address General alarm
systems) of which at least one should be either made such as Getronics, Federal Signal or Spector Lumenex. - Experience in QP or QG installations would be preferred.
- Maintenance of Page Party system installations would be an added advantage.
- Having training & certification related to PAGA systems, especially in Getronics, Federal Signal and Spector Lumenex make systems would be preferable.
- Shall have effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in the English.
- Shall be computer literate and conversant with basic Microsoft office applications.
- Shall be able to read and interpret electronic system drawings.
- Knowhow, in the use of computer-based permits to work on system workflows would be preferred.
- Communication system analysis, troubleshooting, and repairs skills are required.
- The ability to use and operate a personal computer, digital mustimeter, impedance meter, megger meter and other tools and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and operation of telecommunications systems are required.
- Must be familiar with PAGA installations in Hazardous areas.
- The ability to demonstrate initiative to work and solve technical problems, accurately complete tasks on time independently and as part of a team in a potentially stressful environment is required.
- Shall be thoroughly knowledgeable, have in depth experience, competent and experienced in the field of PAGA systems especially hazardous area certified installations, similar to, LNG installations.
