Activities

• Lead, monitor and implement the company's H3SE policies, procedures and program across the region
• Develop relevant H3SE procedures and templates in local languages, based on company procedures.
• Support the Country Manager and Zone Director ontechnical and operations managers in the HSE responsibilities
• Ensure compliance by all project contractors to relevant legislation and Group HSE requirements, with the full support of project managers
• Qualify new contractors on HSE point of view. Make sure HSE performance of contractors is reviewed after each project.
• Review HSE Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Risk assessments and Permit-to-Works for the projects, & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with Group and local requirements.
• Conduct frequent and regular inspections of both construction sites and maintenance operations to check compliance to HSE plan and procedures.
• Identify potential hazards & recommend solutions at all stages of projects, including design review
• Monitor implementation of environmental mitigation measures during construction and O&M phases.
• Assist Project Managers to implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors and set up recommendation & corrective action.
• Lead investigations of incidents, and issue related HSE reports.
• Ensure proper HSE training of company staff, organize HSE promotion events such as World Day for Safety & Environment.
• Collect relevant information and report H3SE data.
• In charge of ensuring HSE compliance in projects, which will result in zero fatality, and serious injuries

Candidate Profile

• 10 to 12 years of professional experience involving at least 5 years in a HSE and/or project management position.
• Rigor, zero compromise with HSE deviation; Proven autonomy and ability to manage.
• Good interpersonal skills and interaction with project teams.
