This Position reports to:
Service Team Leader
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. This role is contributing to the Motion Service Business Area in Mexico .
Your Role: Own the Challenge
- Perform entry-level field service tasks, identify technical issues, and conduct analysis through remote or on-site activities in service categories and products.
- Prepare material lists for service activities, ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment are available and meet quality standards.
- Execute work with a first time-right approach, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare all required documentation and customer reports for signature by the customer representative.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in predictive and preventive maintenance of frequency converters (Drives).
- Solid technical knowledge of electric motors and generators (low, medium, and high voltage).
- Proficiency in using laser aligners, vibration analyzers, thermographic tools, and PDMA electrical measurement equipment.
- Availability to travel is needed and a valid driver's license is desirable.
- Intermediate English communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electronics, Electromechanics, or a related field.
