Job Objectives

An operations Technician is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of industrial equipment and systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure. Operations Technicians are often the first responders when equipment malfunctions, making their role critical in minimizing operational disruptions. They work closely with other team members and departments to ensure that all systems function efficiently and safely. The position demands a combination of technical skills, analytical abilities, and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain industrial equipment and systems.
• Run diagnostic tests to identify malfunctions or issues.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty machinery and systems.
• Document and log all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to solve complex technical problems.
• Update and upgrade equipment and software as necessary.
• Train and support junior technicians and new hires
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for equipment use
